# List verification requests

GET https://api.givechariot.com/v1/verification_requests

Returns a paginated list of all verification requests for the authenticated grantmaker.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

## Request

### Query parameters

- `ein` (string, optional) — Filter by EIN. If provided, only returns verification requests matching this EIN.
- `page_limit` (integer, optional) — Limit the size of the list that is returned. The default (and maximum) is 100 objects.
- `page_token` (string, optional) — A token to use to retrieve the next page of results.

The response for VerificationRequests.list

- `results` (list of VerificationRequest, optional)
- `next_page_token` (string, optional) — A cursor token to use to retrieve the next page of results by making another API call to the same endpoint with the same parameters (only changing the page_token). If specified, then more results exist on the server that were not returned, otherwise no more results exist on the server.

## Types

### VerificationRequest

A verification request allows grantmakers to request that Chariot's compliance team verify an unlisted organization, enabling disbursements to nonprofits not yet in Chariot's database.

- `id` (string, required) — Unique identifier for the verification request
- `ein` (string, required) — The EIN of the organization being verified
- `organization_name` (string, required) — The name of the organization as provided by the grantmaker
- `organization_id` (string, required) — The ID of the Organization record for the nonprofit being verified.
- `status` (enum, required) — The status of the verification request. Possible values include: - `needs_review`: The request has been submitted and is awaiting review by Chariot's compliance team - `verified`: The organization has been verified as tax-exempt and eligible for disbursements - `failed`: Chariot's compliance team determined the organization is not eligible
  - Allowed values: `needs_review`, `verified`, `failed`
- `website` (string, optional) — The organization's website URL
- `recommended_mailing_address` (VerificationRequestAddress, optional) — A mailing address for the organization being verified.
- `verified_at` (datetime, optional) — When the organization was verified as tax-exempt and eligible for disbursements
- `failed_at` (datetime, optional) — When the verification request was rejected
- `created_at` (datetime, optional) — When the verification request was created
- `updated_at` (datetime, optional) — When the verification request was last updated

### VerificationRequestAddress

A mailing address for the organization being verified.

- `line1` (string, required) — Street address line 1
- `city` (string, required) — City
- `state` (string, required) — Two-letter US state code (e.g. "CA", "NY")
- `zip_code` (string, required) — ZIP or postal code
- `line2` (string, optional) — Street address line 2 (suite, unit, etc.)
