The initial step involves **searching** Chariot's database for an organization and **creating** a Connect. Once created, you will receive a Connect ID (CID) that can be used to **initialize** Chariot Connect, the web component that renders the DAFpay button. Lastly, **query** Chariot's APIs to gather all the data generated through Connect. ![](/_fern-img/39fc825c3f9faab18eafffdbfc71eeed8a7ff13e6cc149fa3f81b92a34f53c1b.webp) ## Try it out Try out the [DAFpay Demo](https://secure.dafpay.com/demo) for yourself and see what it might look like on your website after you've completed the integration. ## Are you a DAF provider? If you are a Donor Advised Fund provider integrating with DAFpay (rather than a nonprofit accepting DAFpay donations), see the [Donor Accounts overview](/guides/dafpay/donor-accounts/overview) for the API surface and operational flows tailored to DAFs — including manual approval, token verification, and pre-established access flows. > DAFpay is a payment option that enables donors to initiate donations using their Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) accounts.
