# Deposit Addresses

A **Deposit Address** is a set of bank details — account number and routing number — that receives money into your Chariot Processing account.

Each address belongs to a [Source](../sources/overview), so incoming funds are attributed to that source automatically.

Use Deposit Addresses to:

* Give a payer the exact account and routing numbers they should send money to.
* Segregate incoming payments by source without inspecting who sent what after the fact.
