Lockboxes

A Lockbox is a physical mailing address that receives paper mail on your behalf. Checks and other mailed gifts sent to a Lockbox are scanned and turned into Mail Items, which in turn produce Donations and Deposits.

Use Lockboxes to:

• Look up the mailing address a Source should send checks to.
• Identify which Lockbox a Mail Item, Donation, or Deposit came in through.
